The Central Texas College (CTC) Health Sciences Department recently celebrated the achievements of its Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) graduates with a special pinning ceremony. The event, held on December 12th, marked the transition of 15 students from their roles as nursing students to professional nurses.
The graduates completing the 60-credit hour ADN program were honored with nursing pins, symbolizing their dedication and readiness to enter the health care field. The graduating class included Aleia Ryman, Emily Mendoza, Hailey Silva, Marissa Terry, Megan Combs, Erika Krakowiak, Melissa Manuel, Nicole Paneto-Ortiz, Christine Tembely, Katelyn Ross, Kayla Labrado, Gabriela Maurosa, Ross Davis, Richard Canez, and Robin Castillo.
Guest speaker COL Danielle Molinar, CNM, MS, of the Army Nurse Corps, shared insights from her extensive experience in health care, encouraging the graduates to embrace their roles with compassion, professionalism, and lifelong learning.
The pinning ceremony is a time-honored tradition in nursing, symbolizing the dedication and commitment required to care for others. Central Texas College congratulates the Class of 2024 on reaching this milestone and wishes them success in their nursing careers.
