Killeen, TX- Future Central Texas College Career and Technical Education (CTE) students will join 60 schools nationwide this year to participate in NC3 National CTE Letter of Intent Signing Day on Thursday, April 15, from 5:30-7:00 p.m. in the Anderson Campus Center.
Faculty and administrators will attend the celebration, and pledge continued support to the students throughout their program, as skilled trades are vital and in high demand in today’s workforce.
“This prestigious event celebrates and elevates skilled trades and technical education, providing an excellent opportunity for our students and community to engage in this national initiative,” shares Dr. Melissa Gonzalez, CTC Department Chair of Office Technology and Industrial Technology.
The ceremony highlights the significance of students’ educational choices as they work toward the completion of one of the following certificates:
Signing Day registration is open and the deadline is Tuesday, April 8, 2025.
Special deadline: Event participants are eligible for 3M’s Skilled Trades Transformational Scholarship worth $1,000, but must register for the event and apply for the scholarship by Wednesday, March 5, 2025, 5 p.m. CST to be considered for the scholarship.
