Future Licensed Massage Therapists Invited to Learn About CTC's Program
FUTURE LICENSED MASSAGE THERAPISTS INVITED TO LEARN ABOUT CTC’S PROGRAM
KILLEEN, TX — Central Texas College invites anyone interested in a career as a licensed massage therapist to attend a virtual orientation about the school’s program from 6-8 p.m. on either Nov. 7, Nov. 14, Nov 28, or Dec. 5.
Registration for this free event is available at https://ctc4.me/MT. Participants will learn about admission requirements and coursework and have a chance to ask questions about the program.
“Massage therapy is a great career option for people who want to help others feel better,” Viola Crowder-Moger, director of the CTC Licensed Massage Therapy program, said. “It is a compassionate career field that offers flexibility in the work environment and has great earning potential.”
CTC’s massage therapy curriculum is approved by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges and the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board. The program is also accredited by the Commission on Massage Therapy Accreditation – a reassurance to potential students, Crowder-Moger said.
“Approval from these organizations shows that our program has been peer-reviewed and meets the standards of the profession,” she said. “Our students complete 28 semester credit hours and earn a certificate of completion for college credit, prepared to take their state licensing exams.”
