Meet Our Staff
Rahsaan Dawson, Dean of Service Area, Adult and Workforce Education, has been in the Career & Technical/Continuing educational fields for 27 years. He has a master’s degree in education from the University of South Dakota, and a master’s in business management from Oral Roberts University. In addition, Rahsaan is pursuing his doctorate in Adult Education from Texas A&M College Station. Dean Dawson is originally from Brooklyn, New York, and moved to Texas in 2011. He enjoys cycling and time with his wife, three kids, and one fur baby, Roland.
Dr. Carolyn Griego, Programs Manager, has been in the educational field for 21 years and is new to Continuing Education. Carolyn has a bachelor’s degree in education and a master’s degree in education, both from the University of New Mexico. In addition, she just graduated from Northcentral University with her doctoral degree with a focus on educational leadership. Carolyn is originally from New Mexico and moved to Killeen, TX, in 1997. Carolyn enjoys watching a great horror movie in her free time or spending time with her two fur babies Bubba and Milley.
Sarah Mylcraine, Coordinator of Community Enrichment Programs, has been working for Continuing Education since 2016. She has a bachelor's degree in Recreation, Park & Tourism Administration from Western Illinois University. Sarah was born and raised in Central Illinois and moved to Texas in 2011 after completing her internship. In her spare time she enjoys outdoor recreation activities and playing with her border collie, Ranger.
Pati Thomas, Office Assistant III, has worked for Continuing Education since April 2007. She was born in Germany and grew up in a military family. She continues to pursue higher education and still isn’t quite sure what she wants to be when she grows up. She lives in a noisy house out in the country with one of her 2 grown sons, 2 dogs and a cat.
Jeri Glenn, Office Specialist II, began working in Central Texas College in the Continuing Education Department in February 2019. She is a military veteran and holds both a bachelor's degree in Business Administration and a Master's of Science degree in Accounting. Jeri is a native Texan, and although it took her 30 years, she finally found her way home again and she couldn't be happier. She has many interests including bird watching, wildlife and landscape photography, music, and hunting for Native American artifacts. Jeri says she is a lifelong learner, and feels she is in the perfect position to be able to learn many new things.
