If you are presented with something from family and friends such as additional stoles, even though you can’t wear it during the ceremony, let them hold it for you and take pictures after the ceremony. Decoration of mortarboards must be academic in nature and affiliated with your program of study or celebration as a CTC graduate. A professional photographer from Flash Photography will be at the ceremony to take a photograph as you receive your diploma. Flash Photography will send you a proof and an order form in the mail. However, if you requested your name and address not to be released by the college, you will not receive a proof and order form in the mail. Further information will be provided at the orientation. Please do not invite other professional photographers to the ceremony. Any professional photographers other than Flash Photography will not be allowed.
Family and guests are allowed to take photographs from their seats. However, no one is allowed to block the aisles to take photographs during the ceremony. (After the ceremony, graduates will be dismissed and family and friends may join them.)
We anticipate that the graduation ceremony will be streamed live and will be available approximately one week after graduation. Information will be posted on our Graduation webpage at www.ctcd.edu/graduation . Check back frequently for updated information.
