Tuition Assistance (TA) Benefit at a Glance:

- Must be on Active Duty, “Activated Reservist” - continuous active duty or have been ordered to 120+ days active duty, or Marines in an awaiting training (MAT) status to be eligible
- A $250 per semester credit hour cap
- Annual fiscal year cap of $4,500
- Maximum of 18 semester credit hours per fiscal year
- Maximum of two TA funded classes at once
- All first time TA users must complete a TA Orientation and may only request TA for one class
TA Requests:
- Review the Marine Corps regulations for up-to-date information on Tuition Assistance (TA).
- Request your TA 1-60 days before the posted first day of class. NOTE: TA must be authorized before the term begins.
- Your TA must be signed, approved, and correct - course name and number and class dates must match the class schedule.
- TA covers tuition only. It does not cover fees, instructional materials or any other expenses.
- Submit your TA voucher(s) to accountsreceivableta@ctcd.edu.
