Dr. Robin Garrett
Provost/Vice Chancellor - Academic and Student Success

Dr. Garrett holds the position of Provost/Vice Chancellor of Academic and Student Success and has been in this position since February 2017. In this role she serves as the Chief Academic Officer as well as the SACSCOC and the THECB Liaison. She is responsible for student services, student success, institutional accreditation, state compliance, curriculum, and library services.

Dr. Garrett holds a Ph.D. and Ed.S. from Nova Southeastern University’s Graduate School of Computer and Information Sciences, Master of Science in Educational Technology, Master of Science in Psychology from Angelo State University, Bachelor of Science in Business from Bellevue University and an Associate of Arts in Computer Science from San Jacinto College.  She has over 35 years of experience with various instructional and leadership roles in higher education as well as 12 years of experience in the tech industry.

Dr. Garrett serves on the Workforce Education Advisory Committee for the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board serving workforce education for the State of Texas.  She is also a SACSCOC Reviewer and is the Chair of the Central Texas Higher Education Regional Council. Dr. Garrett chairs the CTC Curriculum Review Committee and the Institutional Action Council.
