Why CTC?
Central Texas College offers the value, convenience and flexibility of a community college and worldwide reach through distance learning and nearly 100 locations on or near military installations. Our history includes service to military students, veterans and family members since we were founded in 1967. Our proximity to Fort Hood, Texas, also contributes to a rich diversity on our campus in Killeen.
Our beautiful Central Campus in Killeen offers a traditional college environment, while our locations across the world help service members and their family members achieve their educational goals. Students not located near one of our sites can continue with CTC through distance education.
CTC is a public, open-admission community college offering associate degrees and certificate programs in academic, professional and vocational/technical fields. We also help students transition from a two-year to a four-year degree through our many articulation agreements with four-year institutions nationwide.
Central Texas College is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges to award associate degrees and certificates of completion. This gives you full confidence the courses you take at CTC will be eligible for federal financial aid programs and those courses will easily transfer to other colleges.
