Bio

Over the course of 30+ years, Mrs. Owens has had the opportunity to learn and teach using many different technologies as they evolved.  These included programs, databases, and applications such as Microsoft Office, AS/400, Access, SQL Server, Visio, and mainframes within Operating Systems (OS) such as Windows, Linux, UNIX, UNISYS.  The ‘growth’ adventures brought her to a contracting life for a few major companies at Ft. Hood, TX.

Since she is, by nature, a student, she love sharing what she knows with others.  Her favorite teachers are (not limited to): life, children, teachers, Thomas Edison, Helen Keller, and (her teacher) Anne Sullivan.  “I have not failed.  I’ve just found 10,000 ways that won’t work.” Thomas Edison

She attended University of Phoenix from 2003-2008 while working full time to obtain her BSIT and MIS degrees.
