We want to inform you about an important update concerning Office 365 accounts across CTC. To prepare for the new MYCTC portal, which will launch in late Spring 2025, all user@stu.ctcd.edu accounts in Office 365 will be deleted and reimported on December 16, 2024.

Impact on Students:

Any data stored on OneDrive will be permanently deleted. Students must back up their OneDrive data and later restore it.

This change will not affect the EagleMail account hosted through Google/Gmail.

Please communicate this change to your students and emphasize the importance of backing up their OneDrive data. Here’s a step-by-step guide to share:

Steps to Back Up OneDrive Data:

  1. Sign in to your Office 365 account and open OneDrive.
  2. Select the files and folders you wish to back up. To select all, click the checkbox at the top.
  3. Click Download to save your files to a secure location, such as an external hard drive or a local computer folder.
  4. Verify that all important files have been downloaded successfully.
