Advanced manufacturing enables companies to produce goods faster, cheaper, and of higher quality. The use of emerging automated systems and robots in the advanced manufacturing field will continue to grow from industry to industry, creating the need for skilled employees.
The SMART Program will launch you into the advanced manufacturing field and into your future career. Hands on experience with industry-grade technology will prepare you to stand out from other job applicants and will prepare you to step right onto the production floor.
This program is a combination of design, robotic programming, and quality control. Students will have the opportunity to earn a certificate in drafting and design and/or a certificate in robotics, as well as an industry certificate, on the way to an associate degree.
