Central Texas College (CTC) will conduct online registration for the spring 2014 semester classroom courses November 25 – January 10. During this time, returning students and new students who have completed the admissions/academic advisement process can register online using the CTC WebAdvisor system. Spring semester classes begin January 13.
To register online, students should log onto http://www.ctcd.edu, click the “Students” link and then click the “WebAdvisor” link. Class schedules are also available at the same web address.
Before registering for classes, new students or returning students looking to change their degree plan must complete the academic advisement process at the Guidance and Counseling office in Student Services (Bldg. 119). Scheduled advisement dates are November 25-26, December 2-3 and January 6-7. Students seeking advisement must adhere to the established academic advisement schedule which is based on the last four digits of the student’s Social Security Number. Students can find their allotted time online at the CTC webpage or in the printed Spring Schedule Bulletin. Students who miss their scheduled advisement time can complete advisement during the open advisement dates December 4-20 but can expect a little longer waiting time during the open dates. To avoid the longer waits, students are free to seek advisement at any time before the registration dates.
Following the holiday break, scheduled walk-in registration will be conducted January 6-7 in Building 119. Students must follow the walk-in registration schedule which is also based on the student’s last four Social Security digits. Students who miss their allotted walk-in registration time must then wait for the open dates, January 8 – 10, to register and, again, can expect a longer wait time. To avoid the longer wait times, students are free to register prior to the walk-in schedule as soon as they have completed academic advisement.
Distance learning students registering for online courses that begin in January can register now through January 9. Registration for online classes starting in February is also underway now through February 6 and March online class registration ends March 13.
The CTC Fort Hood campus is offering a four-week mini-term December 26, 2013, through January 24, 2014. Nine face-to-face courses will be offered during the mini-term. Registration is underway now and the schedule of offered classes is available online at ctcd.edu.
