CTC Celebrates Fall Graduates
CTC CELEBRATES FALL GRADUATES
About 220 students participate in commencement ceremony recognizing their hard work
KILLEEN, TX — A sea of blue filled the Killeen Civic and Conference Center on Friday at a commencement ceremony for Central Texas College’s newest graduates.
About 220 of the school’s 800 fall graduates – many of whom are distance learners from around the world – attended the local celebration.
Dr. Tina Ady, vice chancellor of instruction and workforce initiatives, told students their caps and gowns represented courage, perseverance, dedication, strength and unimaginable potential.
“You probably sought out an education to improve your lives, and you have succeeded,” Ady, a CTC alum herself, said. “You spent many hours in the classrooms and all of your studying has paid off. I wish that many new doors open for you now that you are a college graduate.”
