NATIONWIDE EMERGENCY ALERT TEST SET FOR OCT. 4 

The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) has announced that on October 4, 2023, at approximately 1:20 pm CST, FEMA and the FCC plan to initiate a nationwide emergency alert test.  This alert will be sent to all cell phones, radios, and TV’s.

Risk Management wants to provide everyone with ample warning to help reduce any anxiety or fear that may arise because of this test. 

Again, this is a national test (Nationwide) and is not initiated by CTCD or the state of Texas.
