Room and Board and Deposits
- Room and Board: Non-refundable.
- Residence Hall Deposit: Non-refundable.
Refunds of Tuition and Fees
- No tuition or fee refunds except in cases of course cancellation or official withdrawal from Central Texas College or from a course.
- Refunds are calculated from the date the Application for Withdrawal is filed with the Records Office.
- A completed Application for Refund must be submitted to the Student Financial Services for processing.
- Students who officially withdraw from Central Texas College will receive refunds according to the following schedule:
- 100% refund for courses dropped before the first day of the term or semester.
- Fall or spring semester (16-week trimester):
- First fifteen days: 75%.
- Sixteenth through twentieth days: 25%.
- 21st - 48th days: 5%.
- After the forty-eighth day: None.
- Six-week summer semester:
- First five days: 75%.
- Sixth and seventh days: 25%.
- 8th - 18th day: 5%.
- After the eighteenth day: None.
- Flex-entry and non-semester-length courses with a different census date: 100% refund before the first day; thereafter, see detailed refund schedule.

Class day count begins on the first calendar day of the term (not necessarily the first day of an individual class).

Tuition and fees paid directly to the Institution by the Veterans Administration, Title IV (Financial Aid Programs), sponsors, donors, or scholarships are refunded to the source, not directly to the student.

Emergency withdrawals due to documented emergencies (e.g., military emergency leave orders, medical certification of family emergency) follow the tuition refund schedule.

Special consideration is available for students withdrawing from all classes due to catastrophic illness, accidents, death in the immediate family, or military PCS. Documentation must accompany the refund request for eligibility.
