IMPACT OF I-14 WESTBOUND CLOSURE ON CTC ON FEB. 26

Campus closed to pass-through traffic on Monday; IDs required for entry

 

KILLEEN, TX — All I-14 westbound main lanes at Bell Tower Drive will be closed for a crash reenactment conducted by law enforcement on Monday, Feb. 26, according to a communication from TxDOT - Waco. TxDOT crews will be providing traffic control assistance during the closure, which is scheduled from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Westbound main lane traffic heading to Copperas Cove will be diverted to exit Bell Tower Drive (278). Additionally, the Bell Tower Drive crossover bridge will be closed at the same time.

Motorists should be aware that traffic on the CTC campus will be impacted and restricted as a result of the 1-14 westbound mainline closure. Campus will be closed to all pass-through traffic.

Motorists entering campus from Clear Creek will be able to enter campus from Clear Creek and Bell Tower. However, Central Texas College Drive will be closed to all inbound traffic. Additionally, Loop Road will be closed on Monday, with all traffic forced to stay on Bell Tower.

Motorists should expect delays.

Students and employees will need to have identification cards to enter campus. Those without identification cards, official business, or parking permits will be asked to leave campus. All school buses will be allowed to enter campus.
