The Testing Center is open Monday-Thursday from 8 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. and closes for lunch daily between 1300-1400. No testing will begin after 1130 prior to lunch and 1500 prior to closing. Appointments are required including  DSST Public Speaking and Proctored Exams.

CLEP and DSST

• Active-duty military must provide a counselor referral slip in order to test
• DSST Public Speaking is offered by appointment only.
• Fees: free for active-duty military and Reserves; $125 for all other students.
• Payment: The $90 Clep fee is payable to "College Board" and  must be paid at the time of registration by credit/debit card only via the Clep website; for DSST there is a 100.00 fee paid on their website at the time of the exam; and the $25 payable to "CTC" may be paid by cash, check or money order at the cashier or business office.

TSI ASSESSMENT

• Fees: $25 for the entire assessment or $15 for each section.
• Payment: cash (exact change), credit/debit card, check or money order

GRADUATE MANAGEMENT ADMISSION TEST (GMAT)

• The GMAT is offered by appointment only.
• Fees: $250 for the entire exam.
• Payment: Students must register and pay for the GMAT at www.mba.com.

GED TEST

• The GED Test is offered by appointment only.
• Fees: $33.75 per section. (Fees subject to change without notice)
• Payment: Students must register and pay for the GED at www.ged.com.

PROCTORED EXAMS

• Central Texas College Exams: Test Proctor Submission Form not required
  • Fees: none
• Exams from Other Institutions: students must contact their home institution to designate the CTC testing coordinator as their proctor.
  • Fees: $25 per exam, for up to three hours; $40 per exam, for more than three hours
  • Payment: cash (exact change), credit/debit card, check or money order

Students must start their tests early enough to complete the entire test before the Test Center closes. Students are not permitted to work on the same test for more than one testing session.
