You may choose to use your VA benefits for on-site (resident, face-to-face) and online (distance learning) classes.

The two types of classes are certified separately, so you will need two sets of paperwork if you're taking a combination of on-site and online classes. To use your VA benefits to pay for classes, you will need to submit the following:

  • VA Certificate of Eligibility
  • DD Form 214 (Member 4)
  • Veterans Enrollment Certificate (VEC) - You are required to submit this form, each term after you register for online classes. Failure to do so may result in your benefits not being certified for that term and your classes being dropped.
  • Please contact the Hawaii Schofield Barracks office with any questions about certifying your on-site classes.
  • Please contact our Eagles On Call office with any questions about certifying your online classes.
