Tuition Assistance (TA) Benefit at a Glance:

Review the information provided on the Coast Guard tuition assistance program webpages or visit with your Education Service Officer.

• A $250 per semester credit hour cap
• Annual fiscal year cap of $4,500
• TA is authorized for two associate degrees and two academic certificates
• Officers using TA may incur a service obligation 

TA Requests:

• Review Coast Guard TA Policies for the most up-to-date information.
• Request your TA 7-90 days before the posted first day of class. 
• Your TA must be signed, approved, and correct - course name and number and class dates must match the class schedule.
• TA covers tuition only.  It does not cover fees, instructional materials or any other expenses.
• Submit your TA voucher(s) to accountsreceivableta@ctcd.edu.
