ANNOUNCEMENTS FREE DAYTIME COMPUTER SKILLS CLASSES
The Daytime Computer Skills Classes are sponsored by the 11th Wing at Bolling AFB and offered through Central Texas College at no cost to the student. The classes are open to Active Duty Air Force, DoD Civilians, other active duty service members as well as retirees and family members of 11th Wing Service members in the following order or eligibility:
- Active Duty Air Force assigned to the National Capital Region (Bolling AFB, Pentagon, DIA, WHCA)
- All other Active Duty Air Force members
- DoD Civilians assigned to the National Capital Area (Bolling AFB, Pentagon, DIA, WHCA)
- Service members assigned to other military branches
- Other DoD Civilians
- Retirees and Family Members of 11th Wing Service members
Although there is no cost for the course and no financial penalty for non-attendance, a student who decides not to attend and fails to notify us, prevents another individual from enrolling in the class. Therefore, to register for this class, you must complete and return a Daytime computer Skills Class Enrollment Form (Available at the Central Texas College Bolling Site).
Students must give 72 hours (three working days) notice of cancellation. Students who do not give 72 hours notice will not be permitted to enroll in any other Daytime Computer Skills Class. Exceptions to this policy will be considered for those unable to attend or complete coursework due to unexpected military orders or deployment. Supervisors/commanders must endorse exception requests.
If you fail to show for class your commander or supervisor will be notified, as well as the Education Services Officer.
