Programs of Study

Degrees & Certificates Offered

CTC students may select from Associate of Arts, Associate of Science, Associate of Applied Science, and a variety of certificate programs. Classroom courses, offered in over 150 locations, and distance learning courses provide many options for study and allow students to start and finish their degree with CTC. The links below provide a complete list of currently available degrees and programs. Individual CTC locations may offer the full range of degree programs and services or only those identified through local needs assessments or based on local contractual agreements.

Continuing Education Career Training (Noncredit)

Noncredit career training is also available through CTC department of Continuing Education. Noncredit courses offered by CTC are designed to focus on workplace skills and career enhancing activities; many noncredit course offerings satisfy state, national associations and licensing boards' continuing education requirements. In many cases, the successful completion of noncredit course work results in the award of continuing education units (CEUs).

Degree Maps and Evaluated Credit

Degree maps are based on contractual agreements and provide degree requirements and opportunities for evaluated credit for those degrees. The degree maps on this page do not represent all options available for degrees and evaluated credit through Central Texas College. It is the policy of Central Texas College to recognize nontraditional learning experiences and to award college credit in all cases where such credit is appropriate. All students, including military and former military personnel, are eligible for credit consideration based upon documentation of their previous learning experiences. For more details on evaluated credit, see Evaluation of Previous Education and Training.

Visit our Transfer Center for information on 2 Plus 2 Articulation Agreements between Central Texas College and senior institutions that permit CTC students to "lock in" to a 4-year degree when they register at CTC.
