Full-time employees working for CTC within Texas and the Continental and Navy Campuses are eligible for employer-paid health insurance or additional monetary compensation if this coverage is waived.

Employees outside of Texas(Pacific Far East and Europe Campus') are not eligible for this health coverage, but will receive the additional monetary compensation.

As a full-time employee at CTCD in Texas you are eligible for Group Benefits Program (GBP), which includes Health, Life, Accidental Death and Dismemberment (AD&D), Dental, Dependent Life and Short- and Long-Term Disability Coverage. The GBP is administered through Employee Retirement System of Texas (ERS). The ERS website is http://www.ers.state.tx.us.

New full-time hires have 60 days from the date of hire to elect health insurance and 30 days from the date of hire to elect optional insurance. Optional insurance is any coverage that is not health (dental, Texflex, optional term life, short and long term disablilty, etc.).

For Continental and Navy Campuses

Beginning January 1, 2016, the Continental and Navy Campus  employees became eligible for the GBP insurance benefits listed above.

Upon first day of employment, full-time employees should read and complete the following documents:
