Teresa Chavez, Director, has worked for Central Texas College since 1999 and in Continuing Education since 2001. Her previous continuing education experience includes working for the University of Texas Informal Classes department. Chavez has a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Texas State University and a master’s degree in organizational leadership from Gonzaga University. She is also a certified facilitator for Developmental Dimensions International and Achieve Global. Additional certifications include Servant Leadership (Gonzaga University) and Program Planning (LERN).

Morgan Matlock, Professional Development coordinator, began working in Central Texas College's Mathematics Department and transferred to Continuing Education in July 2015. She has a bachelor’s degree in Mathematics and a master's degree in Business Administration. Morgan is originally from Idaho, but after traveling the country while in the Army, she decided to make Texas her home in 2006. In her free time, Morgan enjoys cooking home-grown food, renovating her home, and spending time in nature.

Sarah Mylcraine, Community Enrichment coordinator, was born and raised in Central Illinois. She moved to Texas in Summer of 2011 to complete an internship with the Grapevine Parks & Recreation Department while living with relatives. After successful completion of the internship and working two part time jobs with local rec departments, she got a full time job working for the City of Harker Heights Parks & Recreation Department. Four years later, after hearing about the opening at CTC, she applied knowing that the position would be great for both personal and professional development. In her spare time she enjoys outdoor recreation activities and playing with her newly adopted golden retriever, Garrett.

Pati Thomas, Office Assistant III, has worked for Continuing Education since April 2007. She was born in Germany and grew up in a military family. She continues to pursue higher education and still isn’t quite sure what she wants to be when she grows up. She lives in a noisy house out in the country with two college-age sons and two cats.

Barbara Hernandez, Office Assistant I, began working with the Continuing Education department in September 2018. She recently moved from California with her husband after retiring from a career with the State of California after 26 years of service. She grew up in a military family and her parents retired here in Killeen, which is what brought her back to be closer to them. Family is very important and she loves spending time with her husband, grandchildren, parents, and Yorkshire Terrier, Pebbles.

Jeri Glenn, Office Specialist I, began working in Central Texas College in the Continuing Education Department in February 2019. She is a military veteran and holds both a bachelor's degree in Business Administration and a Master's of Science degree in Accounting. Jeri is a native Texan, and although it took her 30 years, she finally found her way home again and she couldn't be happier. She has many interests including bird watching, wildlife and landscape photography, music, and hunting for Native American artifacts. Jeri says she is a lifelong learner, and feels she is in the perfect position to be able to learn many new things.
