Campus Smoking And Tobacco Use Policy
CAMPUS SMOKING AND TOBACCO USE POLICY
Central Texas College (CTC) promotes a tobacco-free central campus. No tobacco product (cigars, cigarettes, including e-cigarettes and any type smokeless tobacco) or the use of vaping apparatus or hookahs may be used in any central campus building, enclosed facility, grounds, sidewalk, CTC vehicle or rural property owned by the CTCD and is strictly prohibited. Smoking inside one's personally-owned vehicle (POV) in the enclosed passenger compartment is allowed, however, smoking outside a vehicle or bed of a pickup truck in parking lots, parking areas or garages is also prohibited. A violation of this policy can result in a $25 fine and upon multiple violations, subject to disciplinary action.
