On this page you will find links to all of our programs. We strongly recommend students review the degree/certificate list in the CTC Course Catalog to see the preferred order in which to take classes. If you have any questions or would like advice regarding which classes to take first, please contact us, we would be happy to help you.

The Human Services Program offers classes in two formats – blended or online. Please note every degree/certificate in our department will require you to take at least one online course.  Technology plays a significant role in the mental health field and the department strives to ensure its students are ready for what they will face there.

Blended

Blended classes are a mixture of classroom and online. You are required to attend classes once or twice a week (depending on the class) and also use Blackboard. Please note: although we use Blackboard in a variety of ways to support the learning in our classes, it does not replace the need to attend the weekly/twice weekly classroom classes!

Online

Online classes do not require any classroom attendance, all of the class will take place through Blackboard. If taking online classes, students need to possess good organization, time management, and basic computer skills!

Important note: A grade of 'C' or better is required in all mental health service courses for progression or graduation. Some courses have prerequisites or require departmental approval before the student can register. To find out these requirements, please review the course descriptions located in the college catalog. Also, if a student has been inactive in the program for five or more years, they may have to repeat certain courses and may have to be placed on the current degree/certificate plan meeting those requirements for graduation.
