Let Continuing Education be your training department.
Workforce Education
Workforce education and training programs are designed to meet the special needs of individuals and businesses. Opportunities are available for those individuals who wish to learn a new skill or enhance their existing talents. Whether you want to develop better technical, planning, communication, customer service, leadership or supervisory skills, you'll find courses planned with you in mind.
Continuing Education can teach one of our existing classes for your business at your location or on our campus. We can also create training specifically geared to your business needs. Take advantage of our customized training service by working with us to develop programs tailored to the content, schedule and location requirements of your specific business. These programs are a wonderful way to increase employee productivity and improve customer satisfaction. Contact our office at Continue.Education@ctcd.edu or 254-526-1586 for more information.
Our training programs are designed to meet the needs of employees who want to learn a new skill, explore a new career field or enhance existing talents. Whatever your training goals are, you’ll find day, night and weekend courses already scheduled with you in mind.
We offer hundreds of online classes! Our online instructor-facilitated classes are informative, convenient and highly interactive because our instructors work hard to create supportive learning communities. You can complete any of these courses entirely from your home or office at any time of the day or night.
Some courses run six weeks (with a two-week grace period at the end) while others are self-paced and can be completed in less than a year. Courses are project-oriented and include lessons, quizzes, hands-on assignments, discussion areas and supplementary online materials.
